The first webinars of the 100 women plus project to promote female entrepreneurship in Europe and West Africa are launched

  • The project partners, the Finnova Foundation, Fundadoras association and the Cabildo de Fuerteventura will be part of this project co-financed by the Erasmus+ programme.
  • The 100 Women plus project promotes cooperation between Europe and West Africa.
  • European and international speakers will present experiences, good practices and success stories.

On Monday 19 June, will be held the first online event “Opportunities for green and digital entrepreneurship and European funding”. Is the first one in a series of training and experience-sharing activities of the 100Women plus project, with which we seek to develop partnerships. Within this series of webinars, different trainings will take place between Monday 19th and Wednesday 28th.

The main topic of the first webinar on the 19th of June is Equality, cooperation and entrepreneurship”; Tuesday 20th June Supporting Women’s Entrepreneurship”; Monday 26 June Opportunities of the Digital Economy; Tuesday 27 June Green and Sustainable Economy Opportunitiesand finally,Wednesday 28th June “Showcases and good practise”.

The webinars seek to develop innovative and inclusive approaches to address women’s entrepreneurship, participation, and the acquisition of entrepreneurial skills. At the same time, they  want to increase the exchange of good practices between organizations and institutions.

This time, the event will focus on opportunities linked to green and digital entrepreneurship, actions to support female entrepreneurship as well as funding opportunities provided by the European funding framework. It has been prepared an online event where people from different countries will meet to bring together training, exchange of experiences and ideas, aiming to present different opportunities and to strengthen the role of women in the green and digital transition.

During the sessions, experts in various fields will speak from experience. European and international speakers will present experiences, good practices and success stories, as well as proposals and measures to boost the participation of women in the economic and business spheres, seeking to increase their visibility and that of the initiatives they lead.

About 100 Women plus project:

This project is co-funded by the Erasmus plus Programme of the EU and Led by Finnova, in collaboration with Cabildo de Fuerteventura and Fundadoras association, was created in an attempt to address the need for greater equality and to enhance international cooperation on women empowerment.

100 Women Plus that has been designed to improve the channels of collaboration and dialogue, propose a series of learning activities, exchange of experiences and transfer of results that will contribute to:

  • Establish new mechanisms for female participation.
  • Strengthen the ecosystem of women entrepreneurs in the participating countries.
  • Networking and generating alliances between institutions in Europe and Africa.
