Startup Europe Awards (SEUA) is a methodology of DG CONNECT of the European Commission implemented by Finnova Foundation since 2016. The SEUAs are the open innovation tool to identify disruptive start-ups that promotes public-private collaboration and raises awareness of the importance of self-entrepreneurship as a driver of employment.

The winners of these European awards get an acceleration ticket and that is given through the Startup Europe Accelerator program through which they receive mentoring in European projects and European funds; networking in the European market and advice to overcome legal barriers and support the internationalization of disruptive ideas.

Women Startup Europe Awards: These awards are organized by Startup Europe Awards and focus on projects led by women entrepreneurs.

Startup Europe Accelerathon: Accelerathon is an acceleration program for innovative projects driven by the Finnova Foundation through which it aims to find solutions and funding with an online system of applied open innovation that brings together the innovative ecosystem. The program promotes public-private partnerships and solve challenges.  The participants are trained in European funds and the winning project is likely to be validated in the European program that suits their sector, such as LIFE.

Women Startup Europe Accelerathon highlights projects driven or led by women.
