– Finnova will be a prominent presence at the epicentre of entrepreneurship, highlighting its role in European projects.
– Lola Bordas, Finnova’s CMO, will present the Foundation’s women’s projects
From Wednesday 13 to Friday 15 December, Seville will become the epicentre of entrepreneurship by hosting representatives from more than 45 countries at the International Startup Congress. Among the 200 relevant organisations that will participate, the Finnova Foundation will highlight its experience and vision in European projects, consolidating its position as a reference in innovation and entrepreneurship.
Lola Bordás, CMO of Finnova and president of Fundadoras, will participate in a round table on female entrepreneurship as part of the event, highlighting the importance of the role of women in business. The roundtable will not only be a space for dialogue, but also the ideal platform to present several projects focused on female empowerment that are being carried out by Finnova: Women4Tech, the Foundation’s initiative to support innovation, disruptive projects and public-private partnerships with a female focus; Girls4Tech, for training, skills generation and dissemination of STEM projects aimed at girls aged 8 to 18; 100 Women Plus, which aims to strengthen the presence of European and African women in the economic and business sectors; WomenEquity, with the aim of raising awareness of the barriers women face in accessing the labour market. All projects will be highlighted, emphasising the position and recognition of women in business and international cooperation in the field of women’s empowerment.
The conference will also be an opportunity to talk about the Life Ecodigestión 2.0 Startup Europe Awards, important awards that were presented in September this year and that sought innovative solutions to two challenges that were committed to innovative entrepreneurship in the field of the circular economy, energy efficiency and the fight against climate change. Lola, in fact, will be accompanied in her presentation by Ángela Ventura, an environmental microbiologist specialising in the world of the circular economy. With the recognition of the Climatón of Seville and a special mention in the SEUA awards in the LIFE ECOdigestión 2.0 category, Ángela will present with enthusiasm the work of her startup, which focuses on environmental services and artificial intelligence.
